Tried Sofun last night and really enjoyed the Lu Fen rice noodles. We knew we found an authentic spot when all the diners were Chinese. The popcorn chicken was a great starter. The cumber salad was a bit too saucy for us but still yummy. Next time we will try some other dishes like stinky tofu and soup dumplings. The space is very bright and clean. Friendly and attentive service. Definitely worth a visit.

We had the BEST food here. Summit has needed a place like this for so long! I was so happy to try so fun on a nice snowy winter night. We love the brisket noodles and the pork and egg with peppers. The soup dumplings are so good! And fairly priced! I love that there are multiple options. The servers were very nice and gave great recommendations.

This new noodle bar is way cuter than expected and the food is amazing. As a rice noodle enthusiast, I’ve tried so many restaurants in the great NY area and Sofun is definitely in my top 3. I strongly recommend the tofu rice noodle, the century egg & pepper salad and the fried pumpkin ball. They look great and taste even better. Will definitely come back again and try other dishes!

We love it a lot that we went twice in a day for lunch & dinner. We especially like the salty egg yolk pumpkin. All other dishes are good as well. Most dishes are bit spicy but u can request less spicy. The soup dumplings and noodles and the taiwanese braised pork rice are good for kids since these are not spicy. We definitely wanna go more often and view it as one of our “dining hall”. Great place to hang out with foodies friends as well.

Much more than just a noodle bar! Of course, the noodles here are incredible—especially the Ground Pork & Fried Egg Rice Noodle—but the other dishes truly stand out as well. The short ribs, stinky tofu, and razor clams are all exceptional, each packed with rich flavors. Even the dim sums—Durian Puff Pastry is a one-of-a-kind treat! How I wish this spot was closer to home!

Best rice noodle spot in Summit! The beef rice noodles were soft and savory. Pumpkin ball (sooo cute) perfectly golden and crispy, inside was soft and fluffy. They had just the right amount of sweetness, my favorite! The stinky tofu also fantastic I can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend!

Love this little Human Rice restaurant and noodle place in downtown Summit. A big surprise. Very clean and good atmosphere. A little bit pricey but acceptable considering the location. Food tasted great and authentic.

This is a Gem in Summit! Finally, Summit has a delicious new Asian restaurant! The food is fantastic. I ordered the Razor Clams (辣味刀蚬), Lettuce with Black Bean Sauce (豆豉鲮鱼油麦菜), Meatballs, and the signature Lu Fen (卤粉). Every dish was delicious, authentic, and brought back memories of my time in China. The service was excellent, and the staff made me feel very welcome, especially on a cold winter day. The restaurant is bright and inviting. I highly recommend this place, and the Razor Clams are a must-try!
